Thyroxine:
a) Has specific target cells in the digestive system to increase the metabolic rate.
b) Secretion is governed by negative feedback between the anterior pituitary and the thyroid gland.
c) Does not have one specific target as it can stimulate the cells if the heart, liver, kidney and skeletal muscles.
d) Can be produced in excessive amounts when the anterior pituitary secretes too much FSH.
Can't find an exact answer in my textbook or the internet the wording is always weird, please help? D=
