I want 3 example of each ,production and loss

1) Shivering produces heat. This is due to a combination between friction and ATP usage. The using of ATP in mitochondria is exothermic though is very efficient in converting a vast majority of its energy to mechanical energy.

2) That said, humans produce heat by metabolism, breaking down glucose - which is a high energy molecule (when a muscle is contracted, about 15% of the energy expended goes into mechanical work and 85% turns into heat.)

For heat lose, increasing blood flow to body surfaces to maximize heat loss; this is during vasodilation.
