find the domain of
f(x) = ((x + 8)^(1/2)) / (x + 3)(x - 2)

i forgot how to do this, can someone show me the steps?

The domain is the values that (in this case) x can take. Since a value of either -3 or 2 will make the denominator 0 and any other values are fine, the domain is R \ {-3, 2} (that is all real numbers excluding -3 and 2, or (-Infinity, -3) U (-3,2) U (2, Infinity)).
