The nurse reviewing the client's medical record notes an elevation in the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). The client has been reporting nausea, back pain, and extreme fatigue.
 
  The nurse puts all of this together and suspects the client is experiencing: 1. Gastritis.
  2. Peripheral vascular disease.
  3. Congestive heart failure.
  4. Myocardial infarction.
