You have sequenced a 100-kb region of the Bacillus anthracis genome (the bacterium that causes anthrax) and a 100-kb region from the Gorilla gorilla genome.

What differences and similarities might you expect to see in the annotation of the sequences - for example, in number of genes, gene structure, regulatory sequences, repetitive DNA?
Check all that apply

a)The Gorilla gorilla sequence will not contain interspersed repetitive DNA.
b)The Gorilla gorilla sequence will lack operons.
c)Bacillus anthracis sequence will contain a lot of repetitive DNA sequences.
d) Genes in the Bacillus anthracis sequence will lack operons.
e)Genes in the Gorilla gorilla sequence will be separated by large intergenic DNA sequences.
f)Genes in the Bacillus anthracis sequence will not have introns.
g)The Bacillus anthracis sequence will contain more annotated genes than the Gorilla gorilla sequence.

This one is incorrect:

The Bacillus anthracis sequence will contain more annotated genes than the Gorilla gorilla sequence.

These ones are correct:

Genes in the Bacillus anthracis sequence will not have introns.

Genes in the Gorilla gorilla sequence will be separated by large intergenic DNA sequences.

The Gorilla gorilla sequence will lack operons.
