In the U.S. WA and Oregon are two states that I know practice reforestation and afforestation, and have good weather conditions to increase woodland. Snoqualmie National forest is an example. New England forest will increase it also. If the question about continents, for the last 20-30 years vegetation increase in Africa, and it will continue increasing.
