Can anyone think of one question about antibiotic resistant  bacteria that could be tested with an experiment.  I am working on a project and need a little help. Slight Smile

Well, it varies on alot of things, mainly on the type of bacteria.

Maybe another way to word the above Q is: How many generations does it take for a bacterial strain to gain antibiotics resistance?

We'd need to find the relationship between mutation rate vs. the number of generations (I'd assume it's linear). I'm not particularly sure of this statistic
