Chapter 18 - Insufficient health care for some often is seen as a problem of insufficient income to purchase health care. Discuss two alternatives to social programs that provide health care. There are a few options for people who don’t have insurance, like myself. I have personally had to sign up for Medicaid through Obamacare which helped tremendously until my income raised and I didn’t qualify. Another option is to go to your local health department. They offer cheaper or sometimes free services because it’s all income based. Also, some clinics have sliding scales which is also based on income and tells you how much you have to pay.
