1. Review the Legal Information Institute’s Marriage Law page (www.law.cornell.edu/topics/marriage.html) for background, lecture, and reference information.
2. Have the students search out examples of divorce petitions, decrees, and related documents that exist on the Internet.

1. Consider that you have a client whose former spouse has ceased to pay the required alimony and child support. Which Internet sites, if any, would you suggest that may have information and resources which might assist your client?
A. Of course the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement Program’s website, in the above scenario would be a good beginning point.
G. Projects
1. Visit the National Adoption Information Clearinghouse website and review its links to legal issues and for your state. Were you able to find a citation to the applicable state statute? Was there an Internet link provided to the statute?
A. Have students turn in a table of contents to the adoption law, if it is accessible on the Internet.
