Optic nerve, optic chiasm, ¬thalamus, and visual cortex.

Description
The image of an object travels as sensory information through the optic nerve (cranial nerve II) to the optic chiasm, through the optic tracts to the thalamus, and then to the visual cortex where it is interpreted.
