Alarm calling, a possible example of kin selection.

Description
This Belding's ground squirrel sentry is emitting an alarm call to warn other individuals, which are often close kin, of the presence of a predator. It is believed that by doing so, the sentry draws attention away from the others but becomes an easier target itself.
