A classification system for living and extinct organisms.

Description
All organisms can be grouped into three large domains: Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya. Eukaryotes have been traditionally divided into the four kingdoms: Protista (protists), Fungi (fungi), Plantae (plants), and Animalia (animals). this traditional system has been revised so that only Fungi, Plantae, and Animalia are retained as kingdoms.
