Increased Risk of Knee Osteoarthritis

Description
High heels now, aching knees later. A study by researchers at Tufts University showed that shoes with heels 2.7 inches high increased pressure on the knee joint by 20 to 25 percent over barefoot walking. Wide heels put more pressure on knees than narrow ones, perhaps because women walked more confidently in them.
