In solving a problem we are given the endpoints of two segments and wish to show that the
  segments are parallel.To do this we should use the
 
  (a) slope formula.
  (b) midpoint formula.
  (c) distance formula.
  (d) Either (a ) and (c) will work.
  (e) It is not possible to use coordinates to show two segments parallel.
