For the client discharged receiving IV fluids, the nurse should instruct the client to notify the nurse:
 
  a. if redness, swelling, or pain develops at the IV site.
  b. at the client's next appointment of any problems related to the infusion.
  c. if the client experiences swelling of the legs or shortness of breath.
  d. if the client develops a rash, itching, or hives.
