Researcher Peter Hepper found that human fetuses as young as 30 weeks old are
  capable of forming memories and later altering their behavior accordingly. When he played
  a melody repeatedly to 30-week-old fetuses, they relaxed. After birth they responded by
  relaxing when presented with the same but not other melodies.
