What is covered in the green section of the ERG?

  a. It provides a listing of the individual identification numbers and the hazardous materials having that number. A guide number that refers the user to the Orange Section is also provided.
  b. It contains the names of the hazardous materials listed alphabetically with their corresponding identification numbers. Like the Yellow Section, it provides a guide number that refers the user to the Orange Section.
  c. It contains 172 individual guide numbers, each of which constitutes a two-page summary of information concerning the potential hazards of the referenced hazardous material, recommended actions that relate to public safety, and recommended emergency-response actions to be implemented during a transportation mishap involving the material in question.
  d. It contains information concerning initial isolation and protective-action distances for small and large spills of hazardous materials that are highlighted in the yellow and blue sections. It also provides a list of dangerous-when-wet materials.
