Discuss three challenges faced by management when working with a diverse workforce.

 For managers to fully appreciate the implications of promoting diversity, they must understand some of the challenges they face in managing a diverse workforce. Challenges may include:
1.changing demographics in the workplace as increased numbers of women, minorities, older, and immigrants represent the statistical characteristics of the workplace
2.multi-generation workplaces as we see an increase in the number of generations working together in our workplaces, and these generations bring their unique experiences, values, and special issues into the workplace
3.ethnocentrism and other negative dynamics present challenges as the individuals within the workforce bring their own individual values and beliefs about their culture in comparison to other cultures and generations
