What is the number of possible genotypes in a multiple allele series with 6 alleles? How many of these are homozygous and how many are heterozygous?

The total number of genotypes for n alleles is n(n + 1)/2, so for six alleles, there are 21 total genotypes. Six of these are homozygous (n) and 15 (n(n - 1)/2) are heterozygous.
