Usually cancers that arise from an organ that releases hormones is a death sentence because these organs are always active. Cancer cells usually break free from the tissue of the organ, and are released alongside the hormones to other parts of the body, therefore metastasizing. I don't know the survival statistics if that's what you're after, sorry.
