Sprinters have a different type of muscle that is good at short bursts of speed, and releasing a lot of energy in a short amount of time. But requires a "cool-down" after it has been released and the muscle cannot keep it up for a long time. Distance runners have muscle cells specialized at releasing their energy slowly so they can go for a long time.

You can increase it just by training at it and running sprints.

you will need to have high white fiber muscle type which is usually low in myoglobin and mitochondria . White fiber functions anaerobically in contrast to red fiber ..but they fatique easily
