Why do you push for various forms of Marxism (Socialism/Communism) in the USA? It has failed every single time it has been tried.
Socialism has failed in Venezuela, Greece, and all over Europe.

You want us to follow the policies of Greece? Are you out of your mind?

Where has socialism failed?

Now, I know I don't need to say this, because you're a learned person, but you do know that socialism is not the same as communism..... right.

Europe has no strictly Marxist countries; however, I would say that if European countries have failed, then so has the US.

cause I'm not a "marxist".... I don't want the government making shoes, or owning the factory...

and before someone mentions it, there is nothing wrong with the goverment loaning money to an industry in order to save jobs during a downturn and that ain't marxism....

Well, judging from a 10%+ unemployment rate, 15 trillion dollar debt, 1 out of 5 americans on food stamps, a recession, years of a stagnant economy, and Capitalism needing socialism to bail it out, I'd say Capitalism isnt looking so good either

Please provide a vaild source for your belief that ending a TEMPORARY tax cut on time as scheduled is marxist/socialist/communist.

Your fear mongering would work better if you all stuck to one central boogy-man, instead of using every possible -ism you can think of off the top of your head.

You mean just Communism right?  Because Socialism is definitely different.  Oh and don't say National Socialism either, because that's different than Democratic Socialism.

This country was at its best when we had a strong middle class.  We taxed the heck out of the rich, and we built stuff in America for Americans.  We took care of our elderly and our downtrodden.  Marxism is not what has failed us that we are at this place we are now, and progressives dont advocate for Marxism at all.  
It would be nice to get back to a Social Democracy like we used to have though.
What we have now is bordering on a Corporate Oligarchy.

Just where ARE these "progressives" who want Marxism?

We on the left are CONSTANTLY looking out for possible recruits -- but among "progressive Democrats" all we've been able to find are capitalist liberals, like Obama lovers.

Maybe you've got somewhere special you're looking, that the rest of the world doesn't know about?
