How would I find the structutral and molecular formula of this compund:

a Four carbon alkyne


Lol, chemistry has been a complete mystery to me since the first day! So if you could explain to me how you do this, I would really appreciate it!

I guess if it doesn't have any other groups attached to it you are talking about butyne

the but means it has 4 carbons and the yne means that it has 1 triple bond in it.
The formula is C4H6

I think there are 2 kinds of butynes also based on which carbon has the triple bond
