1. So many polyatomic ions don't contain oxygen: the ammonium ion, the carbonate ion and the cyanide ion all don't, just to name a few.
2. They all have different charges: the ammonium ion has +1 whereas the citrate ion has -3.
3. -ide, -ate, -ium, -ite are the most common endings but there are loads. Some have more common names too.

So the correct statement is 4.
