How can I store a gas sample in Gas Chromatography bag? I need to have precise composition of hydrogen in the gas effluent. The gas sample coming out of a electrochemical cell through a small pvc hose. I need to analyse this gas sample for hydrogen. I was told that I need to put the gas in the bag and then take samples out of it with a cyringe. How accurate will that be? I appreciate any help. thanks

this is about as accurate as you can get.

yes it can diffuse, but it would be at a slow rate.  the accuracy of the analysis will still be very high.  we take our samples for hydrogen to run though our G.C. in rubber stoppered 15cc glass bottles and draw out with a syringe.  assuming the sample bag has a tight seal, it should be fine
