suppose a tire has a pressure of 29.5 lb/in.2 . Convert 29.5 lb/in.2 to its equivalent in atmospheres.

Hi there

lb/in^2 means "PSI".

1 atmosphere = 14.7 PSI

Therefore,

29.5 / 14.7 = around 2 ATMOSPHERE
