Formula: Wtr(weight)/MWt(molecular wgt)=5M(molarity)V(volume). I need to find Molarity, and I have all the other variables. I thought I just needed to isolated M. I did the left side division first, then divided that number by the 5*V. My lab partner said it got back to the 0.02M we started with. I got 0.00002M! What am I doing wrong? Here it is:
1.0048g/392.14=5(M)25.90mL. Can someone let me know if they got the right answer, and how to set it up properly, since i'm doing it wrong. Thanks!
