  A. Social workers need not learn how to work with other disciplines in the care
  and treatment of persons with developmental disabilities.
  B. Social workers should acquire specific knowledge about developmental
  disabilities.
  C. Social work practice and research should seek to reduce or prevent the
  incidence of developmental disabilities.
  D. All social workers should participate in an interdisciplinary approach to caring
  for persons with developmental disabilities.
