The nurse explains to a patient with rheumatoid arthritis that the drug leflunomide (Arava) is a disease-modifying antirheumatic drug (DMARD), which will:
1.   retard the progress of the disease.
2.   builds new bone.
3.   decrease inflammation.
4.   increase flexibility.
