7.   If alcohol blocks vasopressin (ADH) release, would you expect to see normal osmolarity of the filtrate in the loop of Henle?  Why or why not?

Does vasopressin affect the loop of henle? I don't think it does, so I would expect normal osmolarity... I'm not 100%sure though...

Vasopressin quickly increases the reabsorption of water by the collecting duct.  This happens because preformed aquaporins are translocated to the membrane. When an animal is dehydrated, hormones such as vasopressin lead to increased expression of aquaporin genes that allow water recovery
