What is the best undergraduate degree for someone wanting to go to law school after?

im a political science major w/ a minor in english planing to go to la school

most of the people i know major in  political science. however there are a few that major in criminal justice and english. if you want to go to law school  you should prob major in political science it prepares you for The reading and writing aspects of law. also in your core classes you have to take con law. history doesn't prepare you for the writing aspects as much as political science. but if you want to double major from what i herd it would look really good on your transcript for law school.

The common majors are political science, history, English.  You need to know what was going on at the time a case was decided- what political forces were in play in the nation.  Or you could go with English, concentrating in writing.
If I could do it over, I'd actually get a science degree rather than a B.A.  If you get a science degree, you may be able to sit for the patent bar in addition to the state bar.  A background in something other than law would give you an advantage over other new attorneys.
