What is the formula? Like molarity= moles/liters except i need one for volume. Thanks!

What volume of 3.00 M NaCl solution is needed for a reaction that requires 146.3 g of NaCl?

Molarity = Moles of Solute / Volume (in Liters) of Solvent

Soooo...
NaCl = Approx. 58.5 g
146.3 grams * (1 mole / 58.5 g) = Approx. 2.5008 moles

M = Moles of Solute / Volume of Solvent
3.00 = 2.5008 / x
3x = 2.5008
x = Approx. 0.8336 Liters of solvent

C = n / V

V  = n / C

find the number of moles of salt you have then divide it by the concentration.
