These proccessors occur as a form of active transport.

In phagocytosis, materials which are inside the cell are excreted when the cell membrane splits in a section where the material is found, then forms behind the materials and excretes it from the cell.

Pinocytosis is the opposite where the cell envelopes incoming materials to bring it into the cell.

Phagocytosis takes in large amounts of material.  The ingested material could be a bacterium or spores.  In pinocytosis the material is much smaller like already digested materials.
