How do I find the acceleration if it gives the applied force (588 N) and says the object is taveling at a constant velocity?

Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. If velocity is constant, i.e., not changing, that means the acceleration is zero.

Since there's an applied force, there must be something resisting this force (friction for instance) to make the net force zero.

If the object is moving with a constant velocity then the acceleration is zero
