The latent period is a short period prior to muscle contraction, during which excitation-coupling occurs.

What does the question ask directly?

The question is "Will changes to the stimulus voltage alter the duration of the latent period? Explain."

I understand the concept of the latent period but i just wanted to know Why the duration doesn't change for my own understanding.

And thank you so much for replying!

These are the answers for activity 2, exercise 2, prediction.

The active force will first increase and then plateau at some maximal value as the stimulus voltage increases.
