a. Using any of the following terms, explain how an insulin gene could be turned on and transcribing, while the hemoglobin gene is turned off in a pancreatic cell: DNA methylation, histone acetylation and deacetylation, promotors, transcription factors, cofactors, activators and enhancers.

b)  The gene for cytochrome c is also on in a pancreatic cell- what would have to be the same and what would be different about this gene compared to the insulin gene which is also on.

c)  What would be different about how the hemoglobin gene is on in your bone marrow cell compared to how the insulin gene is on in your pancreas is on.
