Ligand binding by receptor proteins is similar in some ways to substrate/active site binding in enzymes. Which of the following statements about this are correct? select as many as apply

In both cases, binding is noncovalent.

In both cases, binding is highly-specific.

In signaling, the receptor changes shape in much the same way that enzyme active sites change shape.

In both cases, binding results in product formation.

In terms of product formation, I can't see that being true for both. However, I'm certain of these two.
