What would be the proportion of the double
recessive class in a dihybrid cross involving
two pairs of contrasting characters in the F2
progeny, assuming that the allele for each trait
is dominant over the other?
1.9/16
2.3/16
3.1/4
4.1/2
5.1/16

In garden peas axial ?owers are dominant
over terminal and red ?owers over white. The
number of plants in the F2 population was
10,000.
About how many in the family would you
expect to have red and terminal ?owers?
1. 5600
2. 640
3. 760
4. 2500
5. 1870

The F2s of a cross between red ?ower and
round seeded (RRWW) × white ?ower and
wrinkled seeded garden pea (rrww), yielded
4 classes of progeny: 2 parental and 2 new
classes with di?erent combinations of traits
(recombinant phenotypes); i.e., red ?owers
with wrinkled seeds and white ?owers with round seeds.
The 2 recombinant classes occurred in the ratio of
3/16 each.
What proportion of each of the recombinant classes will be pure breeding?

1.3/16
2.1/8
3.1/16
4.1/2
5.1/4

thank you!!

5.1/16

You mean something like this? hhbb, where h and b are recessive. If you're crossing HhBb with HhBb, you'll get 9:3:3:1 OR 1/16.
