I am looking into some basic lab equipment to buy for myself to set up a basic lab environment. Do you have any suggestions of a supplier with no-so-sophisticated/advanced equipment with reasonable prices? I'm thinking: micropipettes, tips, small centrifuge, vortex....

This might not be in the right place but I don't know where else to put it so any moderator please move it accordingly.

I'm not an expert but I think Lab Depot might suit your needs

Hi again Micro, why don't you try to get each item individually on eBay. Don't get them in a 'kit' of some sort, those are never any good. Pipettors are going to be expensive if you want good quality ones, and you'll need to buy tips. Last thing you want is a device that doesn't calibrate correctly.

Any particular brand which you suggest? I have been using axygen and they're great. Quite expensive though to buy them myself heh

Go with Eppendorf pipettors. They're the best
