Until 1949, a decision from a Canadian court
a.   could be appealed to an English colonial court called the Judicial committee to the Privy council.
b.   could not be appealed to an English colonial court but had to go through an international court of appeal.
c.   could be appealed to an English colonial court, the British Supreme Court.
d.   could be appealed to an English colonial court but any decisions had to still be approved by the British House of Lords.
