So I'm need to this forum and I'm not sure how safe some of the attachments might be. Has anyone ever gotten a virus from one of the attachments? I'm hoping not. Do the admins block people who upload attachments with viruses... and then delete the post/forum that the virus was on?

No viruses, forum software is too intriciate to allow that thru.
