Oleg is taking part in a balanced placebo design study of alcohol and sexual desire. He is given a nonalcoholic beverage and told it is a gin and tonic. He consumes two of these and then participates in measures of sexual desire.
 
  How did he respond and why?
   a) He reported greater sexual arousal because he expected alcohol to have that effect
