I also remember hearing of a study where 90 patients had their feet chilled and they caught colds days later.

Pneumonia is an infection caused by bacteria or virus. A cold environment might favor the infection because it might weaken the immune system, and a wet environment could create favorable conditions for microorganisms in the lung.

Also, pneumonia has nothing to do with common cold.

Right

In fact, while cold weather can halt the immune system from functioning to it's optimal level, cold doesn't cause a bacteria infection.
