Rural areas tend to have high numbers of the very old and very young, and often the older population has chronic illnesses with which to contend. A program for this demographic would be very beneficial.
Rural areas tend to have large populations of older adults and the very young, not adolescents.
Rural areas tend to have large populations of older adults and the very young, not necessarily children of all ages.
Rural families are often slightly larger than city families, but the very old and very young are the largest segments of their populations.
