A client who had agreed to be hospitalized for stress-related problems has now decided that she wants to leave the hospital. The mental health staff caring for her realizes that at present she can legally:
 
  A) Be discharged if evaluated through administrative hearings
  B) Be retained in the hospital against her will
  C) Leave the hospital after giving written notice of her intent to do so
  D) Leave without discussing the situation with anyone
