  Ed, a conservative representative on the House Science Committee; and Janet, a science historian. Who will likely be more persuasive during the debate and why? a) Ed, because he has experience leading committees dealing with legislation related to climate change.
  b) Caroline, because she works at a news organization that covers the topic frequently.
  c) Jim, because his educational and professional background lend him credibility.
  d) Janet, because she is knowledgeable on how this topic has changed over time.
