Legally, what is the difference between rape and sexual assault?
 
  A) Rape does not involve violence. Sexual assault involves violence.
  B) Rape is penetration of the vagina by any object. Sexual assault does not involve vaginal penetration.
  C) Rape is forced sexual intercourse. Sexual assault is any sexual act not involving intercourse.
  D) Rape is sexual activity without consent. Sexual assault is sexual activity with the use or threat of force.
