For the following 2 questions, choose the correct answer and explain WHY that answer is the correct one of the choices offered. Then explain what each of the other answers are, and why each of them is not the correct answer to the question.

1. Increasing the substrate concentration in an enzymatic reaction could overcome which of the following?

a.) Saturation of the enzyme activity
b.) Denaturation of the enzyme
c.) Competitive inhibition
d.) Insufficient cofactors
e.) Allosteric inhibition
Source  I know that the correct answer is "c" competitive inhibition, but I do not understand why or why the other ones are wrong and what they even are. If you could help me that would be great.
