The dynamic of selection in diploidic:
 Experiences and views in a diploidic marked population (1)
In a locus with 2 alleles ,shown that the fitness are: AA 15%, Aa 20%,aa10%
In another population of the same species the fitness were: AA40%, Aa, 40%, aa60%
If in the population in a specific time, the 2 populations were with a frequency of 0.5 of allele A , will allele A will get fixation in one of the populations ?
   Will the dynamic like this in the first population (2)
  Can happening in haploids population? ( ( AA 15%, Aa 20%,aa10%

p2 = AA
2pq = Aa
q2 = aa

p2 + 2pq + q2 = 1

0.152 + 2(.15)(.20) + (.10)2 = 1

p = 2(0.15) + 0.20 / 2(0.15 + 0.20 + 0.10) = 0.55

-> p + q = 1

0.55 + q = 1
q = 0.45

So the Hardy–Weinberg expectation is:

AA: p2n
Aa: 2pqn
aa: q2n

where n = 0.15 + 0.20 + 0.10 = 0.45
