A female patient tells the nurse, I'm allergic to tetracycline. I always get a yeast infection when I take it. Select the nurse's best response.

  1. Tell the patient, A yeast infection is not actually an allergic reaction. You can safely take the drug.
  2. Say to the patient, Tell me about other reactions or changes you experience when you take tetracycline.
  3. Inform the patient, I will record the allergy in your medical records so that the drug will never be given to you.
  4. Say to the patient, Yeast reactions are a common problem for women, but they are not related to medications.
